OPHTHALMIC KNIFE - UZEONCE
DESCRIPTION
A steel blade with a cutting edge fixed on to a plastic handle, placed in plastic tray with a withdrawable safety handle to protect the user.
The blade tip is used to make primary incision, side port incision, tunnel incision and/or extension incision during eye surgery. The blade is also used to dissect corneal, scleral or similar tissues during ophthalmic procedures.
The product is packed in individual blister (sterile).
Knives undergo a chemical etching process. One of the outcomes of the process is that it reduces the shine of the steel and accords it a matte finish.

INDICATION
Ophthalmic Knife is a hand-held instrument with a blade tip attached to a plastic handle. The blade tip is used to make primary incision, side port incision, tunnel incision and/or extension incision during eye surgery. The blade is also used to dissect corneal, scleral or similar tissues during ophthalmic procedures.
- This surgical knifeis indicated to make a sharp thrust with a side port incision of fixed width. It is preferred by Trained surgeons and Ophthalmologist.

PRECAUTION
The device is to be used by a qualified and trained Ophthalmic physician or optometrist.
- Avoid using a knife if it is in fractured or tainted package or if it suffers fracture or any other

- Do not disassemble or distort shape of the knife before use.
- Dispose of the used knife in a case with a description of its content.
- Do not re-sterilize the device by any method.

- Store at specified storage condition.
- Do not use the device after expiry date mentioned on the box.
